The Ethiopian coffee ceremony is an ancient time-honoured ritual, reflecting the deep communal spirit associated with coffee. An immersive experience of aromas and flavours, providing a unique opportunity to gather and share time, thoughts and ideas.

At Kofeopia, our Coffee Ceremony events bring people together for great causes from local food banks to helping Orphanages in Ethiopia.

An immersive experience is the Ethiopian coffee ceremony, an invitation for the senses and the mind. When one is invited for coffee, culturally, it is an invitation of respect and friendship, an opportunity to meet minds through sober, alert and conscious conversations. An opportunity to connect.

The ceremony is 90 minutes long, where the coffee is roasted & grinded fresh, percolated in a special clay pot, the Jebena, and drank out of a traditional cup made for purpose, the Sini.
